When you shop local, your money stays in the community and directly helps the person you’re buying from and the local economy
There is no better time to be supporting local and small independent businesses. So whether you’re shopping for Christmas, a birthday, a leaving gift or a baby shower, think about checking your local options first, where your spending will have a direct impact on a chain of local individuals and families.
I’ve put together this guide featuring a range of clients I’ve worked with, to be a year round reference which will continue to grow. Please revisit when you’re looking for shopping inspiration and gift giving that supports local and small businesses.

In addition to buying, you can help a businesses’ SEO rankings by visiting the websites, take a look around, offer positive online reviews and following and engaging on their social media. A few clicks, likes, comments and shares doesn’t cost you anything, but does help small businesses by driving traffic (and potentially revenue) to their websites and social media channels.
